UK locksmith, 45, charged over hit-and-run crash in US
A locksmith has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a hit-or-run collision in Pennsylvania.
Police say 49-year-old Kevin Wray-Rae was driving a 2007 Mazda CX-5 when he hit a vehicle on Interstate 95.
The driver of the vehicle, a 45-year old man, was killed and the passenger was seriously injured.
Wray was taken to a hospital for treatment and has been released.
Police said the collision was caught on surveillance video.
The collision happened near Pittsburgh’s downtown core.
The accident was captured on surveillance camera.
The hit-to-run driver fled the scene and police were still searching for him on Sunday.
The Pennsylvania Department of State Police said in a statement that they are “investigating this matter” and that Wray is being charged with reckless driving.
